SRINAGAR: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Likhdipora village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, police said.
The gunfight broke out in Likhdipora village area of the district today afternoon following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Likhdipora village of Kulgam.
Mobile Internet was suspended across the district soon after the news of the gunfight spread.
An official said the Internet was suspended as a precautionary measure.
