Unidentified persons on Tuesday late night tried to set ablaze a Panchayat Ghar in Jamnagri area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
As per locals, the fire was brought under control soon after the flames began emanating from the building. The building, they said, received minor damage.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case and taken up the investigation into the matter.
