SRINAGAR: The Union government on Sunday proposed a budget allocation of Rs 4,869.31 crore for the Union Territory of Ladakh for the financial year 2026-27.
In the previous year’s budget (2025-26), Ladakh had been allocated Rs 4,692.15 crore. Under the revised estimates for 2025-26, the total allocation rose to Rs 7,377.43 crore, comprising Rs 5,029 crore for revenue and Rs 2,347.43 crore for capital expenditure.
For 2026-27, of the proposed Rs 4,869.31 crore, Rs 2,542.26 crore is earmarked for revenue expenditure and Rs 2,327.05 crore for capital expenditure, according to the budget documents released on Sunday.
