In the on-going RGKA competition in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, Union Secretary for Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India, Rajiv Yadav was the Chief Guest on the inaugural function of block level rural sports competition on Tuesday.
“About 850 youth at block Ganderbal and Block Wakura participated on the first of the two day long competition,” a statement from sports officer Ganderbal said this evening.
The function was attended by Joint Secretary Youth Affairs And Sports Govt Of India, D G Sports J&K, Deputy commissioner Ganderbal, Special secretary Technical Education/ Youth services and sports ,Principal Govt college of Physical Education Ganderbal, District Sports officer Ganderbal, B D O Ganderbal and Representatives of various Panchayats.
Inter block competitions will be held on 10th and 11th of this month.
