A Jammu and Kashmir Bank guard posted at Pinjoora in South Kashmir’s Shopian district was attacked by two youth on Tuesday.
An official said that in an attempt to snatch the rifle of a J&K bank guard in Pinjoora Shopian, two unidentified youth sprinkled chili powder in his eyes. However, he fought back and held his 12 bore rifle firmly which resulted into damage of the weapon.
The official added that attackers have fled from the spot but the searches are on to nab the assailants.
