SRINAGAR: Two persons were injured after a motorcycle without a registration number skidded off the road at Sindoo Shirmal area of Shopian district, officials said on Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Monday when the motorcycle lost control and veered off the road, resulting in injuries to both the rider and the pillion passenger.
The injured have been identified as Shahid Fayaz Bhat, son of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Gaberpora, who was riding the motorcycle, and Asma Jan, daughter of Tariq Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Chainerbagh.
Both sustained injuries in the incident and were shifted to District Hospital Shopian for treatment, where they are undergoing medical care.
