A 25-year-old woman identified as Sanju Devi who was critically injured in a road accident on Saturday has succumbed to her injuries.

Pertinent to mention, Sanju along with two more were injured on Saturday after a driver of four wheeler winger lost his control on speed and fell into the deep gorge, however, driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.

As reported earlier, three persons were injured in a road accident near Nadya Kasi Bandi Machichurand Road in Uri. The accident took place Near Nadya Kasi On Bandi Machichurand road of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday when a driver of speedy four wheeler vehicle Winger bearing registration No.Jk05D O533 on way to Bandi lost his control on speed resulting three persons critically injured, however, all injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Uri and for advance treatment referred to District Hospital Baramulla.

The driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.

The injured were identified as Anju Babla, 35, wife of Natar Kumar resident of Bandi Dayar, Sanju Devi, 25, wife of Manoj Kumar resident of Deyar and Mohammad Irfan, 22, son of Mohammad Kabir resident of Machichurand.

Surprisingly four-year-old Mano Son of Manoj Kumar remained unhurt. Police in this regard has registered a case.
