Army Wednesday claimed that in an ongoing gunfight between militants and forces in north Kashmir’s Uri sector, one militant has been killed.
Without confirming the identity of the militant, army spokesperson said one AK-47 rifle was recovered from his possession.
Earlier, the encounter broke out Wednesday morning at Kazinag Dhar area of Uri when a joint party of forces and SOG got engaged in a gunfight with four militants.
