The Urs of Hazreth Sheikh Hamzah Sultan-ul-Arifeen, Makhdoom Sahib (RA) will commence on December 15 and will continue for 13 days.
In a statement issued to KNS chairman Jammu and Kashmir Makhdoom Trust has said that the Urs of the Sufi saint will be celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety.
The Trust has appealed district administration to take stock of the arrangements and facilitate a smooth Urs for the devotees.
The Trust has urged the district administration to facilitate a hassle free power and water supplies besides adequate arrangements for healthcare services for the devotees who will attend the Urs from nook and corner of the state.
The chairman of the trust has also appealed R&B, Police, Fire and emergency services besides Srinagar Municipal Corporation to finalize their arrangements for the Urs.
