PaK President Sardar Masood Khan has called upon British government to use its influence to stop “human rights violations in Kashmir”, Radio Pakistan reported.

He was talking to British MP, Lord Commissioner of H M Treasury Andrew Griffiths in London on Monday.

PaK President updated him on the current human rights situation in Kashmir, the report added.

“He also appreciated the proposal of the British parliamentarians to send cross-party delegation to both sides of Kashmir so that the facts about human rights situation could be ascertained.”

Sardar Masood urged the MP to ask British Prime Minister to raise the issue of “human rights violations” in Kashmir with her Indian counterpart during her visit to India.

Andrew Griffiths stated that international community should encourage and facilitate resolution of the Kashmir dispute, the report added.
