Braving restrictions and rains, people from nearby areas managed to reach the shrine at Khanyar and Sarai Bala Srinagar, where they witnessed the holy relic of the saint

This was first annual congregation after last year’s devastating fire that engulfed the shrine. Miraculously the holy relics were saved.

Born on Wednesday, the 10th of Rabi al-Thani in 470 A.H (1077 CE) in Geelan, west of Iran in the house of  Sayyid Abdullah-Az-Zahid (R.A) and Umm-ul-Khair Fatima, Gousul Azam’s lineage finally meets the last prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W), both from maternal as well as paternal side.
