Valley observes shutdown against CASO & killings

Protesting on call given by resistance leadership against daily Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) by government forces and killing of militants in the valley, life was affected on Sunday in major areas of the valley.
According to reports reaching Kashmir Life newsroom, Shop and business establishments, which are functioning on Sundays, remained closed and traffic was off the roads.

Besides restrictions have been put in place in old city of Srinagar.

However according to reports, the Sunday market is open.

On Saturday late evening, joint resistance leadership asked people to observe complete hartal on Sunday.

The statement said “the strike is being observed “as a mark of protest against the cordon and search operations being carried out by Indian armed forces in the valley during which dozens of resistance armed youth have been martyred since the last week in various areas including Hajin Pulwama zakura and other places.”
