SRINAGAR
A minor boy was injured in a road accident in Kangal area of Ganderbal district last evening, police said on Monday.
An unknown Tata sumo hit and injured a 13 years old Wasif Ahmad son of Imtiyaz Ahmad Gounchi resident of Gounchi Mohallah Akhal near Preng, Ganderbal, in Kangan. The injured Wasif was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Kangan Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile eight houses got damaged in two separate fire incidents Sunday evening.
Seven houses got damaged when fire erupted at Watal Kadal Daresh Kadal, Srinagar. Fourteen families were residing in these houses.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Jawahar-Nagar, Srinagar, resulting in damage to the house.
