Vice chairman Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board resigned from the post on Tuesday.
The reason behind the untimely resignation was not immediately known, however. The family sources said that Pir Mohammad Hussain has resigned citing personal reasons.
Hussain was appointed as VC of the Board in 2015.
