SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Advanced Scientific Research Centre (KASRC) Cluster University Srinagar, on Wednesday, announced several significant achievements reinforcing its commitment to scientific research and innovation.

One of the highlights is the recognition bestowed upon KASRC as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Secondly, Dr Shahzad Aasim, the founder of KASRC, announced his induction as a member of the Indian Academy of Neuroscience.

KASRC also actively participates in the Cognitive Science Research Initiative (CSRI) project, conducted under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. This initiative aims to harness cognitive science to address real-world challenges. It underscores KASRC’s commitment to using science and technology for the betterment of society, aligning with the national mission of “Science and Technology for a New India.”

The institution has received offers for collaboration and joint ventures from esteemed institutions and researchers worldwide. Nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Germany, and various European countries have expressed keen interest in partnering with KASRC.
