A Special Teacher Training programme for Wakf Schools was held on Wednesday at Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE).
The spokesman said the programme is designed to help equip teachers with task techniques and trends in classroom processes and holistic child development.
As many as 50 teachers drawn from higher secondary, high, middle and primary schools of J&K Wakf Board are participating in the programme.
In her inaugural presentation, Professor Parveen Pandit, Principal, IASE dwelt at length on the postulations and paradigms of curriculum development and transaction consistent with the goals of education.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary, J&K Wakf Board gave on the outline of the reform process initiated for Wakf Institutions.
