SRINAGAR
One person died when he came under a wall that collapsed over him while he was cleaning his house in Srinagar, a police statement said on Tuesday.
Sajad Ahmad Kand son of Mohammad Ishaq Khand resident of Kand Mohalla, Dal Lake, was injured when a wall collapsed over him while cleaning his house. He was shifted to SMHS hospital, Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, one person died in suspicious circumstances in Srinagar. Police has taken cognizance and started investigation to ascertain the cause of his death.
Aijaz Ahmed Nadaf son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Ahmada Kadal, Lalbazar was brought to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar in suspicious circumstances for treatment where he was declared brought dead.
Police has started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death.
