SRINAGAR: In a milestone for the entrepreneurial landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, WaWe Waste to Wealth Sustainability Private Limited has successfully secured seed funding, marking a significant leap forward in the region’s startup ecosystem.
This achievement was made possible through the concerted efforts of the Kashmir Angel Network (KAN), in collaboration with IIT Ropar iHub Awadh and the Wadhwani Foundation.
WaWe, a visionary startup founded by Khan Aamir and Mubashir Yousuf, is dedicated to transforming waste into valuable resources. Their innovative approach to waste management has garnered attention, and this latest round of funding underscores the potential of their venture. The investment, facilitated through IIT Ropar iHub Awadh, will enable WaWe to scale its operations, enhance research and development, and expand its market reach.

The duo asserted that the capital infusion will be a key driver in their mission to innovate within the waste management sector, offering scalable solutions to pressing environmental challenges.
