“China has a clear vision and I can clearly see without any confusion in my mind that China has a plan. The plan has been put in place in Doklam and Ladakh. Do not underestimate what we are facing,” Gandhi said. “This is a very, very serious threat to the Indian nation.”

Gandhi said India’s major policy focus should have been to keep Pakistan and China separate. Foreign policy under Modi has done away with it. “The strategic goal of India should have been to keep China and Pakistan separate. But what you have done is to bring them together. Do not underestimate what we are facing. This is a serious threat to India,” he said.

“If you haven’t realised what the Chinese and Pakistanis are planning, look at the weapons they are buying, look at their activity, look at who they are talking to… I am clearly saying in Parliament that we have made a massive blunder and we need to make sure that we can defend ourselves against the Chinese,” Rahul is heard saying in a set of videos viral on social media. He said India is at risk from within and outside.

Gandhi said India is right now surrounded. “Ask yourself why you don’t get a guest for Republic Day because India today is completely isolated and surrounded,” Rahul said. “We have been weakened. Our institutions are under attack.” He claimed India is “surrounded in Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, China,” and insisted that it was “the single biggest crime against the people of India”.
