He urged people in Jammu and Kashmir to stand firm, stating, “Do not fear my imprisonment; we will fight and win.”

Engineer Rashid said that he will support CM Omar Abdullah wherever he does good work. “We hope CM Omar Abdullah should fulfil all his promises, wherever he will do good I will support him and wherever he won’t work in favour of Kashmiris, We will adjust tooth and nail democratically,” he told ANI.

Rashid accused Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah of using Article 370 for electoral gains while abandoning it in practice. He added that he would support Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s initiatives beneficial to Kashmiris but vowed to hold him accountable where he fell short.

The MP also condemned recent attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, urging all stakeholders to engage in dialogue to achieve sustainable peace. “We oppose any form of violence and call for reconciliation. Stakeholders must come together to discuss solutions, as justice is essential for peace.”
