Four policemen were dismissed from the service on Monday after they were found absent from their duties when four rifles were looted from the Congress leader in Srinagar on Sunday evening, reports claimed.
Earlier, four rifles were looted from the official residence of Congress leader Muzzafar Parray in absence of the SPOs guarding his residence at Jawahar Nagar Srinagar. Taking cognizance of the incident, authorities have dismissed four SPOs from their service.
In this regard, a case has been registered and further investigations are going on.
