In view of the weather and avalanche warnings, Jammu and Kashmir police has established helpline numbers in every district as well as in Police Control Room Kashmir in view of a weather advisory issued by the MeT department.
“General people of the valley are requested to contact their respective concerned Police Helplines in case on any emergency and exigency,” said a spokesman today.
Inspector General of Police Munir Ahmad Khan has directed all the concerned district SSPs to remain vigilant and keep their men ready for the help of general public, he said.
IGP further said that these helplines has been established in every district and will remain functional 24×7.
