A fresh spell of rain or snow is like to be witnessed in Kashmir valley from Friday, an official from Kashmir’s meteorological department said.

“Rain in the plains and snow in the higher reaches is likely to occur during the next 24 hours,” a MET Department official said.

Srinagar has recorded minus 1.8 degree Celsius, Tourist destination Pahalgam has recorded minus 3 degree Celsius while Gulmarg has also recorded minus 3, respectively.

The Kokernag area of district Islamabad has recorded minus 2.5 and Kupwara has recorded minus 3.6.

The Jammu city has recorded 11.1 degree Celsius; Banihal has recorded minus 2.2, and Bhaderwah 3.2 degrees Celsius.

Leh has recorded 6.4, while Kargil has recorded minus 7.8 degree Celsius.
