The man took his savings to deposit in the bank. There, he lost it.
In the new story involving the demonetized twin notes, a 26 year old youth lost a bundle of Rs 40,000 in a local bank here. The bundle comprised the notes of 500 and 1000 rupees only.
He kept the cash aside on the table and started filling the form. Then there was no cash. Somebody has stolen it.
On the request of the client, the bank checked the cctv footage and were shocked to see the thief moving out by hiding his face behind a file. But the thief is clearly visible while he was entering into the bank.
The boy has approached the police. SHO Kishtwar Sameer Jeelani said the youth approach the police but did not submit any complaint.
