SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said that the investigation into the mysterious deaths in the Badhaal village of Rajouri is ongoing, and the government will have answers soon.
Speaking to reporters, Omar Abdullah, said that, so far, they have determined that the cause is not a virus or bacteria.
He added that medical teams, the SIT, and inter-ministerial teams led by the Ministry of Home Affairs are investigating the cause of the deaths and will provide answers shortly.
Seventeen people have died due to a “mysterious illness” in Badhaal village, while four, including three siblings, are undergoing treatment. (KNO)
