United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has said that he would be willing to persuade India to have talks with Pakistan over Kashmir in the remaining months of his tenure, reports said.
Radio Pakistan reported that Moon has always been supportive of any direct dialogue between Pakistan and India.
Quoting Spokesman of UN Stephane Dujarric, the report said that UN Chief would be willing to persuade India to have talks with Pakistan over Kashmir in the remaining months of his tenure.
“UN Chief would help to resolve the conflict between India and Pakistan on the condition that both sides must agree to his mediation,” he was quoted as having said in the report.
