SRINAGAR: A strong windstorm swept across south Kashmir on Saturday morning, damaging several structures in the Verinag area of Anantnag district, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that strong winds damaged the rooftops of houses and shops in Nowgam village early morning.
Signboards from over a dozen shops were also swept away. However, no loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident.
