Srinagar: As the chilly weather conditions have intensified in Kashmir, the government on Monday announced winter vacation in all Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir division besides, Colleges of Jammu division which fall in the winter zone.
As per the order, the Colleges will remain closed for winter vacation from December 23 to February 10, 2018.
The government has already closed the schools for winter break.
Interestingly while the weather conditions have led to the closure of entire formal education sector, the private sector especially the coaching centers are filled to the brim in most of the kashmir’s urban and sub-urban areas.
