SRINAGAR: Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Tuesday said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was responsible for addressing the grievances of legislators left out of the Cabinet, while urging the newly inducted ministers to serve the people and tackle corruption in the government.
Speaking to reporters after the swearing-in ceremony at Lok Bhawan in Srinagar, Sharma said, “It is Omar Abdullah’s responsibility to wipe the tears of legislators who are unhappy over being left out of the Cabinet.”
He also expressed hope that the newly inducted ministers would work in the public interest and rid the government of corruption, which he alleged had engulfed it.
