Panic gripped the Karan Nagar area of Srinagar when CRPF Personnel resorted to aerial firing. People were scared as they take it for the third attack after Hyderpora and Barzulla.
According to local news gathering agency, CRPF personnel carrying Sub Inspector Lal Ram of 20 battalion lost control near SMHS Hospital after they were stranded in traffic jam and they resorted to aerial firing without any reason.
This created panic in the area; however no one was injured in the incident. Reports said that the condition of Lal Ram was critical.
Lal was injured when militants fired at him from point blank range.
