Budgam police took cognizance of a suspicious death of a lady in Khan Sahib area.
According to police spokesman, Police Station Khan Sahib was informed by some locals that a 32 year lady Salima Banu wife of Nisar Ahmad Sheikh resident of Yarikhan was brought to SDH Khansahib, where doctors declared her brought dead.
“Police immediately started the investigation into the suspicious death under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of her death. The body was handed over to NOK’s for last rites after completion of all legal formalities”, the official said.
