SRINAGAR: The body of a woman that was recovered from power canal in Thune locality of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday late evening has been identified.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that the body of was spotted by some locals and soon after they informed the police.
He added that the body has been identified as Shameema Begum wife of Fayaz Ahmed Bajad of Kangan.
The official added a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated in this regard.
