SRINAGAR: A woman was found dead in a Nallah in the Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
An official said that a female body was found in Nallah Brengi in the Dehruna area of Anantnag district.
The deceased has been identified as Saba Begum wife of Mohammad Akbar Sheikh resident of Dehruna Anantnag.
“It wasn’t immediately known whether it was a case of drowning or something,” he said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation in this regard has been taken up. (KS)
