A woman was killed and seven others sustained injuries after a vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district last evening.
A police official said that a tractor turned turtle and plunged into a nallah in Malangpora near Airforce station in Awantipora, resulting in the death of a woman identified as Jawhara, wife Mushtaq Ahmad Dar.
Soon after the incident, the injured passengers were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
The official said out of the eight injured person woman breathed her last and seven are being treated at the hospital.
