A wreath laying ceremony was held in District Police Lines Pulwama where tributes were paid to the slain policemen; SgCt Ghulam Rasool and SgCt Ghulam Hassan,who were killed after militants attacked police post guarding the new court complex in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
As has been reported police spokesman said that a group of militants opened fire upon the police post resulting in on spot death of two security guards and injury to another at Takiya Wagam opposite to Government Degree College Pulwama near Barpora Kareemabad.
Senior officers of civil administration,police and paramilitary forces including Deputy commissioner Pulwama, IGP Kashmir Swayam Parkash Pani-IPS, DIG skr ,SSP Pulwama and other officers paid tributes to the slain policemen.
