A wreath-laying event was held on Sunday late evening in District Police Lines Pulwama where tributes were paid to the slain officer Imtiyaz Ahmad who was killed by suspected militants at Wahibug village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama.

Police officers paid tribute to the slain officer.

A spokesperson in a statement said that civil and police officers led by Inspector General of Police S.P Pani laid floral wreaths and paid rich tributes to the slain police officer.

“Among others who laid wreaths on the body of the slain includes DIG SKR, SSP Pulwama and other senior officers of police and security forces,” the spokesman said.
