A wreath-laying event was held on Monday in District Police Lines Anantnag where tributes were paid to the slain SgCt Manzoor Ahmad son of Mohammad Akram who was killed at his home in Bahi Kokernag Hiller area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said senior police officers including DIG SKR, SSP Anantnag and other police officers laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains and paid rich tributes to the slain.
“We pay our rich tributes to the slain for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty. We stand by his family at this crucial juncture,” Police said.
