SRINAGAR

Reacting fiercely to union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s latest statement, JKLF chairman Yasin Malik Wednesday said Singh’s statement has exposed the double speak of PDP and announced a sit-in against the idea on May 2.

“Mufti Sayeed government is hell bent upon implementing the RSS agenda in Kashmir and it is their hidden motive to harm interests of Kashmiris,” Malik said in a statement.

“Kashmiris cannot remain silent spectators over these conspiracies that are being hatched to divide people in the name of faith.”

Significantly, HM Singh told Lok Sabha Tuesday that Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had promised to give 50 acres of land as first instalment for rehabilitating Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley.

Already, the move has triggered fierce reactions from mainstream politicians like Er Rasheed and Hakim Yasin. Both the leaders asked Mufti to come clear on the move.
