Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tributes to Ghulam Ahmad Dar of Jagar Pora Handwara who breathed his last on Saturday.
In a statement issued here, Yasin Malik said that the deceased was a man of wisdom and courage and was a supporter of JKLF. He, Malik said that Dar was a close friend of Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone and always stood firm against the oppression and tyranny.
Meanwhile JKLF acting Chairman Advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt strongly condemned the alleged use of force and power by police and forces in Jammu Kashmir. While condemning the continued detention of Separatist leaders including JKLF leader Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Butt said, “Oppression and reign of terror unleashed by authorities shows the frustration of rulers.”
