SRINAGAR: A Yatri died of a cardiac arrest at Baltal area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
An official said that one Yatri identified as Chandra Bhan(59), son of Barli Ram resident of Patiala Punjab fell ill and died at Base Camp Baltal due to cardiac arrest.
He said that after completion of medico legal formalities, dead body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
He said that further proceedings in this regard have been taken up.(KS)
