SRINAGAR: L’Oréal India is inviting applications from women who completed Class 12 in 2023, aspiring to pursue higher education in the field of science. The last date to apply is January 7, 2024.
The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to female students for their graduation studies in various scientific disciplines such as Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Engineering, Medical, etc., at recognized Indian colleges or universities.
Female candidates who have passed Class 12 in Science stream in the academic year 2022-23 with a minimum score of 85 per cent in PCM/PCB/PCMB in Class 12 are eligible to apply. Their annual family income should be less than INR 6,00,000.
Students who have one year gap after Class 12 will not be considered for the scholarship. Final selection will be made upon submission of admission letter from a recognized college/university in India.
The scholarship sums up to INR 2,50,000 (INR 2.50 lakhs). The amount will be provided to selected candidates in equal annual installments based on proof of academic promotion.
The documents that are required to be submitted along with application form include Attested copy of age proof (Aadhaar Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Voter ID Card, etc.), Self-attested copy of parents’ income proof (Income Certificate, Salary slip, Form 16) and Mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12, both attested by school authorities.
