Immediately after the Eid Ul Adha prayers concluded at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid, a group of youth which eye witnesses claim to be around 30 were spotted in Nowhatta with banners and placards of former Al Qaida chief Osama Bin Laden and also with banners of Taliban.
The police according to sources came in to action and quell the protesters while resorting to lathi charge and mild tear gas shelling.
