Incarcerated separatist leader and Muslim Deeni Mahaz chief Dr Ashiq Hussain Faktoo aka Dr Qasim Faktoo Sunday asked separatists to evolve a joint strategy to make people aware and counter the “agenda of PDP and RSS”.

In a press statement, Faktoo said, “the pace at which RSS and PDP are working jointly on an anti Muslim agenda requires resistance camp to work against it under a joint strategy. When Indian political parties and their brainchild political parties in Jammu Kashmir, Indian departments, agencies and media can work jointly in prolonging the Indian occupation of Jammu Kashmir why can’t the resistance organization fight this operation united.”

“I request Mirwaiz Umar Farooq that on the eve of Jumat-Ul-Vida (17th July), let he invite all the pro resistance leaders  like Syed Ali Geelani, Yaseen Malik, Shabir Ahmad Shah and Mian Abdul Qayoom to offer Nimaz at Jamia Masjid Srinagar and address the mammoth gathering of the people there,” he said adding, “these leaders should jointly address the people and make them aware about the agenda of PDP and RSS and promulgate a joint strategy to  tackle this agenda.”

“We request Kashmiri Muslims to remain alert against those Indian political workers who are indulging in negative propaganda against the pro-freedom leadership. All they want is that the public image of these leaders should get tarnished so that   pro-India political parties get an open field for work. We can’t have angels or our pious ancestors as our leaders, thus we are left with no choice but to support the present leadership. The weaknesses that they may be having can be corrected by being in touch with them. We request the educated youth to sincerely be in contact with the pro resistance leadership, point out their mistakes and play a role in making this movement strong and  active,” the statement quoted Faktoo as having said.
