A speedy Tavera vehicle knocked down a 21 year old youth in Tappar area of Pattan in northern part of Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Irfan Ahmad Mir, son of Gh Ahmad Mir of Andergam, area of Pattan and was working with Airtel.
As per locals of Tapper, he was crossing the road when the incident happened and was critically injured.
He was immediately shifted to Pattan hospital wherefrom doctors shifted him to SKIMS Srinagar.
After battling for life for 4 hours, he succumbed to injuries at the hospital in the afternoon.
