A youth died during an Army recruitment rally in Doda district on Monday, police said.
Yogeshwar Singh, 26, collapsed while undergoing screening test at a recruitment rally of Territorial Army (TA), they said.
“It seems that the youth may have suffered a heart attack,” police said, adding the reason behind the death is being investigated.
The Army has been holding recruitment rallies in six districts of Jammu and Kashmir to fill 1,305 vacancies in the Territorial Army.
Meanwhile, five people including a policeman were injured in clashes during an Army recruitment rally in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Monday.
