One civilian has succumbed to injuries during the clashes in Khudwani village of district Kulgam.
The deceased has been identified as Khalid Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Salam Dar resident of Ghat Khudwani village of district Kulgam.
Reports said that Khalid was hit by a bullet in the chest and succumbed to his injuries.
Earlier, gunfight started between militants and forces in Larnoo Kokernag village of district Islamabad on Tuesday.
Soon after the encounter broke, clashes erupted between civilians and forces in several parts of district Islamabad.
