SRINAGAR: An 18-year-old youth drowned while bathing in the Namblan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
According to officials, the victim, identified as Moin Ahmad Lone, son of Gh Hassan Lone from Heewan Narwav, drowned in a stream.
Authorities swiftly responded to the incident, with police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) reaching the scene to recover the body.
Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
