SRINAGAR: A 21-year-old youth was drowned while taking bath in Nallah Sindh at Preng area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
Police sources while confirming to Kashmir Life said that a youth identified as Suhail Ahmad Mir (21) son of Nazir Ahmad Mir a resident of Nilla Najwan drowned while he was taking bath on river Sindh at Preng area.
Police said it has launched an operation to retrieve the body.
Meanwhile the Ganderbal district administration has already imposed a complete ban on bathing in Nallah Sindh, but still in most of the places of district, young people are still taking bath.
