The body of a 23-year-old youth was recovered under mysterious conditions from an orchard in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
Reports said that dead body of a youth identified as Hilal Ahmed Parray son of Abdul Rasheed Parray a resident of Bun mohalla Baba Shukurdin village of Hajin town has been found by locals.
“The dead body of deceased was found in a nursery near Bon Mohalla, Hajin,” they said.
As per reports, the deceased was kidnapped by unknown masked men during the night.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the death of the Parray, who was a painter by profession caused to due to strangulation, the officer said.
A case under Section 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigation has taken up, the officer added.
