SRINAGAR: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Khrew hamlet of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
An official said that the body was discovered by passersby in the Shar Shali area, after which the police were informed. Officers reached the spot and took the body for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased has been identified as Huzaif Javaid Wani (18), son of Javaid Ahmad Wani, a resident of Ladhoo, Pampore.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognisance of the matter and initiated an investigation. (JKNS)
